ABOUT THE ARTISANS

Meet the hands that made it

In a tucked‑away lane of Jaipur, in a workshop where the walls are blackened from decades of molten metal, you’ll find Rajendra Singh.
He is a third‑generation brass artisan, taught by his father, who was taught by his father before him—over 50 years of family mastery poured into every curve.
Rajendra speaks softly, but when he engraves, there’s a rhythm in his hands like a quiet song. He says, “Each bag should sound like a festival when it moves.”
And so he shapes the bells, polishes the brass, and carves the motifs with patience and pride.
When you hold this purse, you hold Rajendra’s story, his family’s art, and the heartbeat of a craft kept alive for centuries.
