Made-to-Order & Pre-Orders

Mass production optimizes for speed.
Craft optimizes for integrity.

Gullye operates on a made-to-order model so we can keep the work rare, intentional, and sourced from real craft hubs  without stacking inventory like fast fashion.

What “Made to Order” Means at Gullye

When you place an order, your piece is crafted after purchase not pulled from a warehouse.

Typical craft time: 4–6 weeks
After crafting, your order ships with tracking.

What “Pre-order” Means

A pre-order reserves your piece in advance either because:

  • the piece is made in limited batches, or
  • you’re securing a spot in the crafting queue

You’ll see the estimated crafting window on the product page and/or at checkout.

Why We Work This Way

Made-to-order protects what luxury is supposed to mean:

  • fewer pieces, better finishing
  • less waste, more intention
  • time spent on details you can’t fake (alignment, polish, enamel layering, stone seating)

It also means your piece doesn’t come from a warehouse shelf  it comes from a workshop rhythm.

Timeline & Updates

  • Crafting begins after purchase
  • If we anticipate a delay beyond the stated window, we email you
  • Tracking is shared when shipped

Changes & Cancellations

  • Changes/cancellations allowed within 24 hours of purchase
  • After that, your order may already be in production and cannot be cancelled

For pre-orders specifically:

  • If a pre-order is delayed beyond a reasonable threshold (2 weeks post delivery confirmed date), we can offer store credit or cancellation.

If You Need It for a Date

If the piece is for a wedding/event/trip, contact us before ordering. We’ll confirm feasibility.

What to Expect

Because pieces are handcrafted:

  • minor variations are natural
  • stones/enamel may show subtle differences
  • that uniqueness is part of the value
