The Cascade Drops, Rose
The maker's mark
Four rounds of resin fall in a line from the ear, each one domed and glossy in the same warm pink, each held in a thin brass collar. Three inches of drop that moves as a chain rather than a single weight, so it swings rather than pulls.

What is the stone in these?
It is resin rather than stone, chosen for its color and its lightness. Resin takes a depth of shade that stone rarely does, and it weighs almost nothing at the ear, which is why these are among the easiest earrings here to wear all day. We would rather tell you plainly than let you assume otherwise.
Are they heavy?
No. The weight is spread across several small stones rather than one large one, so they move freely and stay comfortable through an evening.
Will the brass darken over time?
It can, and many people come to like it. Brass responds to air and skin, deepening slowly in tone. Keeping the piece dry and storing it in its box slows that down, and a gentle wipe with a soft cloth brings the brightness back.

What is Gullye
Gullye finds its soul in the forgotten lanes, where quiet hands shape beauty that the world often overlooks. We bring these stories forward not as relics of the past, but as living treasures meant to be cherished.

The house of Gullye
Slow by hand.
Heirloom objects from the workshops of South Asia, made in editions, never in factories.

The Cascade Drops, Rose
Four rounds of resin fall in a line from the ear, each one domed and glossy in the same warm pink, each held in a thin brass collar. Three inches of drop that moves as a chain rather than a single weight, so it swings rather than pulls.
Gullye makes sculptural pieces by hand, in small editions, with master artisans in Jaipur. Once an edition sells out, it is retired.
The specification
Resin is light and warm to the touch, and it prefers to be kept away from heat and direct sun, which can alter its color over years. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth, and keep the piece away from perfume, lotion, and alcohol. Brass darkens gently with time; a dry cloth brings the brightness back. Store in the Gullye box.
