The Fern Parure
The maker's mark
Green stone and granulated brass, at the throat and at the ear. The necklace alternates smooth stone cushions with brass beads worked all over in fine grain; the drops take one of each and hang them from a hook. The contrast reads at both scales, cool stone against warm, textured metal.

What comes in the parure?
Every piece listed in the specifications above, and each one is also sold separately.
Is it heavy to wear?
It has real presence, and the weight sits evenly around the neck rather than pulling at one point. It is a piece you will notice wearing, in the way a substantial necklace should be.
Will the brass darken over time?
It can, and many people come to like it. Brass responds to air and skin, deepening slowly in tone. Keeping the piece dry and storing it in its box slows that down, and a gentle wipe with a soft cloth brings the brightness back.

What is Gullye
Gullye finds its soul in the forgotten lanes, where quiet hands shape beauty that the world often overlooks. We bring these stories forward not as relics of the past, but as living treasures meant to be cherished.

The house of Gullye
Slow by hand.
Heirloom objects from the workshops of South Asia, made in editions, never in factories.

The Fern Parure
Green stone and granulated brass, at the throat and at the ear. The necklace alternates smooth stone cushions with brass beads worked all over in fine grain; the drops take one of each and hang them from a hook. The contrast reads at both scales, cool stone against warm, textured metal.
Gullye makes sculptural pieces by hand, in small editions, with master artisans in Jaipur. Once an edition sells out, it is retired.
The specification
Brass darkens gently with time and touch. Wipe the piece with a soft, dry cloth after wearing, and keep it away from water, perfume, and lotion, all of which dull a polished surface over time. Store it flat and on its own so the stones are not scratched by harder jewelry. Store in the Gullye box.
