The Story Behind
-
25 Days. One Bag. In an era of instant manufacturing, the Ametrine Clutch is an act of defiance. It begins in the narrow gullies (lanes) of Jaipur, where Master Artisan Vereen practices a craft passed down through four generations of metalworkers.
The process is slow and unforgiving. It takes 25 days to create a single piece. Molten brass is hand-casted into sand molds,a technique as old as the soil itself. Once cooled, the raw metal is not machined; it is hand-chiseled, hammered, and polished by Vereen himself to reveal the "golden glow" hidden within the alloy.
Every irregularity in the texture is proof of human hands. You are not just buying a bag; you are preserving a dying art form.
You don't wear Gullye. You honor it.
