Does it come with a strap?
Yes. It includes a detachable triple-layer gold-tone chain for shoulder wear, and you can remove it entirely to carry the Ametrine as a pure clutch.
What does it fit?
At 8"L × 5.5"H × 1"D it holds evening essentials, lipstick, cardholder, keys, and a compact phone. An iPhone Pro Max will not fit.
Is it heavy?
No. At 3.5 oz it is the lightest bag we make. The hand-hammered surface keeps it light without losing the substantial feel of real metal.
The story
Master Artisan Vereen is a fourth-generation metalworker. The process is slow and unforgiving. Molten brass is hand-cast, then, once cooled, it is not machined but hand-chiseled, hammered, and polished until the warm gold glow hidden in the alloy comes up. The freshwater pearls are wired into the surface one by one. Every small irregularity in the texture is the proof of a hand.
You are not just buying a bag. You are keeping a slow craft alive.

What is Gullye
Gullye finds its soul in the forgotten lanes, where quiet hands shape beauty that the world often overlooks. We bring these stories forward not as relics of the past, but as living treasures meant to be cherished.

The house of Gullye
Slow by hand.
Heirloom objects from the workshops of South Asia, made in editions, never in factories.

Gullye makes sculptural pieces by hand, in small editions, with master artisans in Jaipur. Once an edition sells out, it is retired.
The specification
This piece is solid metal set with pearls. To keep its glow, wipe with a soft dry cloth after use. Keep it away from water and perfume, and handle the pearls gently. Store in the Gullye dust bag to protect the finish from scratches.
In confidence

In an age of instant manufacturing, the Ametrine is the opposite. One clutch takes twenty-five days.
