What fits inside?
The interior is sized for small essentials, a lipstick, a key, or similar evening items.
Is each piece handmade?
Yes. Each one is cast and finished by hand, so slight variations occur. Those nuances are part of its character.
Can it be worn on the shoulder?
Yes. It comes with a chain strap with a 20-inch drop, and can also be carried as a clutch.
Will the finish change over time?
With wear, the brass may develop a soft natural patina. Many owners see this as part of the beauty of the piece.
The story
It is a fish, cast in solid brass. To make one takes twenty-five days across seven stages, wax carving, casting, scale detailing, polishing, and the hand-setting of a single ruby-red eye. The artisan touches it more than sixty times before it is finished.
When it arrives, notice the weight of it. The scales catching light at every angle. The small red eye no one sees until they are close enough to be curious. The click of the hinged belly opening.
Made in small batches. This version will not be made again.

What is Gullye
Gullye finds its soul in the forgotten lanes, where quiet hands shape beauty that the world often overlooks. We bring these stories forward not as relics of the past, but as living treasures meant to be cherished.

Gullye makes sculptural pieces by hand, in small editions, with master artisans in Jaipur. Once an edition sells out, it is retired.
The specification
This piece is cast in metal and should be handled to preserve its finish and detail. Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after use. Keep away from water, perfume, lotion, and moisture. Avoid abrasive cleaners and rough surfaces. A gentle natural patina over time is part of its character. Store in the Gullye dust bag.
In confidence

The Siren is the piece people stop you for. Not because it demands attention, but because it rewards it: the kind of object that takes a moment to understand, and once you do, you keep looking.
