To achieve this "anti-gravity" effect, Ratan hand-forges the silver into a specific curve that mimics the human ear. The balance must be exact: if the bird is too heavy, it falls forward; if the wire is too stiff, it pinches.
It takes 3 days of shaping and balancing to create a bird that feels weightless. When you wear it, it sits right against your ear a constant reminder to listen to your own intuition.
