Two ways. By the curved top handle in the hand or over the arm, or on the detachable crossbody strap when you want both hands free.
What fits inside?
At 9" wide and 4.5" tall it is a proper day bag, phone, wallet, keys, makeup pouch, sunglasses, and the small accumulations of a full day. The zip-top keeps everything secure.
Is the leather real?
No. The Arbor is made entirely from structured vegan leather, with no animal products anywhere. It is smooth and holds its shape with basic care.
How does it compare to The Ivy?
Both are deep forest green; beyond that they are different bags. The Ivy is a soft, slim crescent shoulder bag. The Arbor is a structured day handbag with an arched handle and much more capacity.
The story
This bag was designed with that intention. The single looped handle is the defining element, not a detail but the shape everything else follows from. It sits in the hand or rests over the arm with an ease that takes a while to design well. The forest-green vegan leather is smooth and structured, holding its form whether it is set down or carried through a room.
At nine inches it is a proper day bag, and the detachable strap converts it to crossbody when the afternoon asks for both hands. It moves with you without announcing the transition.

Gullye makes sculptural pieces by hand, in small editions, with master artisans in Jaipur. Once an edition sells out, it is retired.

The Arbor is structured vegan leather, built to last with simple care. To clean, wipe the exterior gently with a soft damp cloth. Do not hand wash, machine wash, tumble dry, or dry clean. Keep it away from sharp objects and prolonged direct sunlight. When not in use, store in a cool dry place and stuff it lightly to hold its structured form.
