How do I carry it?
Two ways. By the curved top handle, or on the detachable crossbody strap when you want both hands free.
What fits inside?
At 9" wide and 4.5" tall it is a proper day bag, phone, wallet, keys, makeup pouch, and sunglasses. The zip-top keeps everything secure.
What does it pair with?
Deep cherry burgundy is one of the most versatile colors in a wardrobe, sitting naturally against camel, cream, black, olive, and navy, in every season. It does not need to match; it leads.
How does it differ from The Arbor?
The silhouette, specs, and construction are identical, the color is the whole difference. The Arbor is grounded forest green; the Merlot is warm, declarative burgundy. Many buyers own both.
Is it vegan?
Yes. Structured vegan leather with a soft lining, no animal products anywhere.
The story
Color does something to a room that shape alone cannot. The Merlot carries the same silhouette as The Arbor, the same arched handle, the same structured vegan-leather body, the same nine inches of day-bag capacity. But the color changes the whole conversation. Where the Arbor is quiet and grounded, the Merlot announces the season. It is the bag you reach for when you want the color to do the first sentence of work.
It holds a full day and carries by the handle or slung crossbody. The burgundy works against camel in autumn, cream in summer, black at any hour. It does not need to be matched. It needs only to be chosen.
The best colors feel like a decision. This one always does.

The specification
The Merlot is structured vegan leather, holding its shape and color with simple care. To clean, wipe the exterior gently with a soft damp cloth. Do not hand wash, machine wash, tumble dry, or dry clean. Keep it away from sharp objects and prolonged direct sunlight. When not in use, store in a cool dry place and stuff it lightly to hold its structured form.
In confidence

Merlot produces one of the most studied colors in the world: deep cherry burgundy. It is the shade of Renaissance oil paintings, of cardinal robes, of the velvet chairs in libraries that smell of old books. Across centuries it has signaled the same thing, that the person who chose it made a considered choice.
